SECTION 01

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Perpex platform at perpex.org — including all features, tools, and content — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Perpex Innovations LLP, registered in 10/1744, 1st Floor, Sowbhagya Building, Kakkanad, Ernakulam, Kerala, India, 682030.

SECTION 02

Who Can Use Perpex

Perpex is designed for:

Final-year Computer Science and IT students preparing for placements

Freshers and recent graduates seeking their first IT role

Career switchers moving into software development

Developers of any experience level who want to improve their production coding skills

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Perpex. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

SECTION 03

Your Account

When you create an account on Perpex, you are responsible for:

Keeping your credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone. Use a strong, unique password.

All activity under your account. Any actions taken while logged in as you are your responsibility.

Providing accurate information. Do not register with false or misleading details.

Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account at [email protected].

One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to exploit the free trial or any other feature is a violation of these terms and may result in a permanent ban.

SECTION 04

Acceptable Use

Perpex is a professional learning platform. We expect all users to act with integrity. Here's what that means in practice:

You may

Complete tasks and submit your own original code
Use AI tools to learn and understand concepts
Share your CREDO score and task completions on your CV or LinkedIn
Contact support for help with the platform
Cancel or manage your subscription at any time

You may not

Submit code that is entirely copied or auto-generated without understanding it
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy Perpex's content or task database
Share task solutions publicly or sell them to others
Attempt to manipulate CREDO Points or exploit the scoring system
Use the platform for any unlawful or harmful purpose

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination without a refund.

SECTION 05

Subscriptions & Billing

Perpex operates on a subscription model. Full platform access requires an active paid plan.

Available plans — Monthly, 6-Month, and Yearly subscriptions. Visit the Pricing page for current rates.

Billing cycle — Subscriptions are billed at the start of each period (monthly or annually depending on your plan).

Auto-renewal — Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Cancellation — You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current paid period.

Refunds — Please refer to our Refund Policy for full terms on refund eligibility.

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

SECTION 06

Free Trial

Perpex offers a free trial so you can experience the platform before committing to a paid plan.

The free trial allows you to complete up to 3 tasks across any available language.

No payment information is required to start the free trial.

The free trial is available once per person. Creating duplicate accounts to access additional free tasks is a violation of these terms.

CREDO Points earned during the free trial are retained when you upgrade to a paid plan.

SECTION 07

Intellectual Property

All content on Perpex — including but not limited to task descriptions, evaluation logic, platform design, branding, and written materials — is the exclusive intellectual property of Perpex Innovations LLP.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the Perpex platform without written permission.

Task content is proprietary. Sharing task questions, answers, or evaluation criteria publicly is strictly prohibited.

Your code belongs to you. Code you write and submit on Perpex remains your intellectual property. We do not claim ownership over your submissions.

You are free and encouraged to reference your completed Perpex tasks and CREDO score on your CV, portfolio, LinkedIn, and job applications.

SECTION 08

CREDO Points

CREDO Points are Perpex's centralised scoring system that reflects your overall dedication, professionalism, and skill development on the platform.

Points are awarded based on task completion, code quality, consistency, and professional behaviour on the platform.

CREDO Points have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash, discounts, or any other benefit unless explicitly stated in a promotion.

Perpex reserves the right to adjust, reset, or revoke CREDO Points in cases of fraud, misconduct, or violation of these terms.

The CREDO scoring algorithm may be updated from time to time to improve accuracy and fairness.

Attempting to manipulate or game the CREDO Points system — including through automation, collusion, or submission of non-original code — will result in account termination.

SECTION 09

Disclaimers

Perpex is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Perpex does not guarantee employment or job placement. The platform is a learning and skill-building tool — outcomes depend on individual effort and external factors.

AI-generated code reviews are provided to help you improve. They are not a substitute for professional software engineering advice.

SECTION 10

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Perpex Innovations LLP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to:

Loss of data, revenue, or profit

Loss of career opportunity or employment

Platform downtime or service interruptions

Errors in AI-generated code review feedback

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

SECTION 11

Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship under these terms:

By you — You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current period (see Refund Policy).

By Perpex — We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to the platform or other users.

Accounts terminated for policy violations are not eligible for refunds. All associated data including CREDO Points may be permanently deleted.

SECTION 12

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions as our platform evolves. When we do:

The updated terms will be published at perpex.org/terms with a new effective date.

For material changes, we will notify registered users via email at least 7 days before the change takes effect.

Continued use of Perpex after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

We recommend bookmarking this page and reviewing it periodically so you're always aware of the current terms.

SECTION 13

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically under the jurisdiction of Kerala, India.

Any disputes arising from or related to the use of Perpex shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ernakulam, Kerala, India.
